A Timeline of Unanswered Questions

Adrianna’s disappearance raised immediate alarms. Her family, friends, and concerned citizens searched tirelessly, only for her body to be found hours later — in an area that was supposedly already checked. To make matters worse, visible injuries, including bruises and swelling, were found on her body, raising serious concerns about foul play.

The Guyana Police Force initially reported that security footage showed Adrianna leaving the hotel compound in a car. This claim was later retracted, admitting the footage never existed — fueling public outrage and deep distrust toward the investigation process.

A Family’s Brave Stand for Truth

Adrianna’s family, determined to uncover the real story, refused to accept incomplete answers. They rejected a government-appointed pathologist and demanded an independent autopsy by a specialist from North America. They also called for international agencies like the FBI or RCMP to be involved to ensure fairness, honesty, and full transparency.

President Irfaan Ali has since pledged to support an independent investigation, including covering the costs for an external pathologist. While this is a necessary step forward, many believe that real justice requires full accountability, systemic reform, and lasting change.

The Nation’s Response

Across Guyana, citizens have risen up in solidarity.

Protests have erupted in communities. Social media has been flooded with calls for justice under hashtags like #JusticeForAdrianna and #ProtectOurChildren.

This is not just about Adrianna anymore. It is about the right of every child in Guyana to feel safe. It’s about rebuilding trust in the very institutions that are supposed to protect us.
